Words that caught us: L-A-A-O-F is for 'Limitations are agents of Freedom'

If you are human,

You must be struggling with something, right now;

Especially so, with the storm kicked off by COVID19.

Rarely do we have/get it all,

Although we seem to crave and pray for it, all the time.

Rarely do we stop to consider,

That having everything can and has, in many cases,

Been a limitation, in and of itself.

Rarely do we embrace or appreciate our limitations,

Yet, they are the gateways to growth and freedom.

Now, if you are swimming in the stormy sea of

'Why me, Lord?'

Here is an answer you probably need to hear:

'Limitations aren’t handcuffs.

They're agents of freedom.

When you're forced to live

Within the parameters of certain limitations,

You’re also forced to be creative and explore places

That have never been explored before.'

What would happen if you embraced and danced with your restraints?

What new places/ideas/opportunities/people,

Are your present limitations asking you to notice and explore?

What are they calling you to see?

Where are they asking you to go?

What are they inviting you to create?

'Out of the restraint and pressure, diamonds will form.'

But only if we welcome and allow it.

We may not like or enjoy our limitations,

But we'll probably all agree,

That in all the times we've embraced and smiled at them,

We've always come out better than before,

Every time.

So, hug them. And dance.

That's your gateway to freedom!
