just wanted to take a momentwhile i had you on my mind
to tell you
its been much too long
since we last shared some time together
sometimes it seems
we're so busy in our everyday routines
that we forget about what really matters
there's something very special
about a friendship like ours
that continues to grow
even though we're not always together
and now that you're on my mind
mental pictures pass me
and a gush of longing engulfs me
asking in desperate gestures
for a chance to see you again
again
