Isn’t
it amazing and powerful
The
way Christmas waves a magic wand
On
the entire world?
There
aren’t many holidays I know
That
pack as much joy,
Kindness
and generosity
As
Christmas.
For
some of us,
We
wait yearlong for such holidays
To
celebrate, travel,
And
fill our hearts with joy.
Suppose
we did that more often...
Suppose
we celebrated, gave thanks
And
felt joy more times in a year
Like
we do on Christmas?
Suppose
we traveled more
And
drank more from the cup of adventure
Like
we do on Christmas?
What
would it take us to be the nice, kind, and generous souls
We
are on Christmas,
And
be that throughout the year?
Do we
have to wait for Christmas:
To
travel,
Be
with family,
Give
gifts,
Practice thanksgiving,
Spread
a cheer,
Be
joyful?
Do we
have to wait for Christmas
To be
human and humane?
Do we
have to wait for Christmas
To
celebrate life,
And
create memories?
Suppose
we practiced that every day?
Joyful, every day.
Free
spirited, every day.
Generous,
every day.
Kind,
every day.
Suppose
the magic of Christmas
Was
to live in our hearts -
Not
just for a season or one day -
But
every day?
Imagine
that!
Can
we do it?
Can
you do it?
