Words that caught us: we are in the business of making fire
We
love bonfires!
Most
of us do.
And,
perhaps, we also know
How
to make them,
Effortlessly
and quickly.
For
us, we begin with a stone,
To
create a little elevation.
Then we place on it
A few shreds of paper,
From an
old newspaper,
Then add
some kindling,
Arranged
into a mountain shape,
Always
leaving spaces
For
air to enter the elevation.
What's
the most important part
Of
this ensemble?
If
you do this as often as we do,
You’ll
soon realize
That you
can get everything arranged like this,
But
if there is no sufficient space for air to enter,
The
little flame will soon die out.
And
it's the same with us.
We are all engaged
In the business of making fire,
But
unless we arrange our life and work
In
such a way that there are sufficient spaces,
For
air to enter,
Our
burning desires and plans will soon flame out.
Where
do you feel like you need more space?
Where do you feel or see your fire flaming out?
What
can you do today,
To create
more space for yourself, to make fire?
