Words that caught me: P is for Possibilities

These past 6 weeks,

We’ve together asked, pondered and reflected,

On 6 COVID19 questions:

  1. How has Covid altered your decision-making model?
  2. How will the social shifts hastened by Covid change our self-identity?
  3. What concerns has Covid revealed to us about screen-addiction and doom-scrolling?
  4. How do we bridge the yawning trust deficit that Covid has exposed to us?
  5. What will we do now that Covid has shown us what essential work really is?
  6. How will the redefinition of ‘space’ brought about by Covidchange us and our culture?

Of course, these are not all there is.

There are probably a thousand others, out there.

And even as this asking, pondering and reflecting

Is going on,

We'll also need to get down to work, and living life.

'When' and 'how', you may ask.

Well…how about starting right now…

By shining the light on possibility.

No. Not opportunity.

Forget opportunity for a moment - that’s ‘finite’ thinking -

It suggests there are a specified number of cards to be grabbed.

Just concentrate on possibility for now - think ‘infinite’ -

Which suggests a multitude of paths, open to all of us,

And for the benefit of all.

What is possible?

What possibilities have opened up

For me, my passion,

My family, my relationships,

My business, my community?

What is possible?

Shine the light on that.

See the possibilities.

Envision them.

Embrace them

Turn towards them...in faith…

Because possibilities are life’s promises –

They are the river of life,

Continuously flowing,

And in them, flows joy itself.

It's life giving you a shout out.

Choose to hear it.

Choose to listen...and to lean into it.

Choose to heed the call!

*This marks the end of our Covid-question series. We trust that the questions have led you to some insightful discoveries, about how to play in the ‘infinite game of life’ (see Simon Sinek, The Infinite Game). Thanks as always, for being a fan and encourager.
